The Peninsula Oilers fell to the Anchorage Bucs, 3-2, on Thursday, July 18.

In total, 5 men’s teams and 4 women’s teams, including a USA Rugby Division 1 team from Wisconsin, vied for the title of Dipnet Fest Champions. 

The Peninsula Oilers wrap up their homestand with 5 – 2 over the Chugiak Eagle River Chinooks.

The Peninsula Oilers continue their dominance at home against the Chuguak Eagle River Chinooks.

The Oilers split the double header with the Chinooks in two seven inning games, during the first meeting of the two teams in the regular season.

The Oilers bats came alive on Tuesday after an ugly loss to the Bucs in the first game of the road trip.

The Peninsula squad had a rough first game from the jump in the opening contest of the eight game trip on the road.

The Oilers took three out of five games against the league-leading Anchorage Bucs in the series.

With the win, the Oilers improved to 7-5 on the season, hung onto second place in the ABL, and now trail the first-place Bucs by only two games. 

The Peninsula Oilers turned in one of their better offensive performances of the season in Wednesday night’s game against the Anchorage Bucs.
