Kenai & Soldotna Baseball 5/13-19

Each week KSRM/ESPN selects a Peninsula Sports Athlete of the Week from each of the central peninsula’s three public high schools.

With a win over Kenai on Saturday, the Stars move to second place in the Northern Lights Conference behind Palmer.

The Stars and Kardinals both made runs at a potential Bash on the Bay Title; Soldotna came home as the runner up, and the Kardinals finished 3rd.

At the 17-team Anchorage Invite at Dimond High School, the Soldotna boys and Homer girls led the way for Kenai Peninsula track teams, with multiple top finishes from Soldotna, Kenai, and Nikiski athletes.
