Each week throughout the high school sports 2014-15 competitive seasons, KSRM/ESPN selects a Peninsula Sports Athlete of the Week from each of the central peninsula’s three public high schools.

The 2014 Kenai River Marathon event is scheduled for Sunday with four races of varying distances to be run through the streets of Kenai and Soldotna.
