At around 2:30 this afternoon Central Emergency Services responded to a residence fire around mile 15 of K-Beach Rd.
Brad Nelson with CES said the fire started in the oven while residents were cooking bacon and was confined to the kitchen.
He said it did demonstrate a couple of lessons however.
No one was hurt during the fire and CES subdued the fire quickly.
