Competing at the 2017 Las Vegas International Open Jiu-Jitsu competition on April 29th, Rachel Chaffee-Kastner earned a gold medal and a silver medal in jiu-jitsu compettion featuring athletes from across the nation.
Rachel Chaffee-Kastner captured the gold medal in the Master 1 Division (over 30 years of age) Female-Blue Belt, Medium Heavy. Kastner also won a silver medal in the Female Open Division-Blue Belt.
Kastner competed under the banner of Anchorage Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Kastner trains with Redemption Mixed Martial Arts in Soldotna.
