Many business owners reside in the Kenai Peninsula and Wednesday’s joint chamber luncheon could offer insights into requirements for after ballot measure 2 becomes law.
President Johna Beech with the Kenai Chamber of Commerce said tomorrow’s speaker will recommend what business owners need to know as of February 24 when Alaskan adults will be legally permitted to recreationally use marijuana.
Beech: “Tomorrows speaker is Renee Shofield from TSS safety out of Ketchikan and she’s actually going to be talking to us in regards to how the marijuana initiative is going to affect businesses and what business owners need to do once it’s implemented.”
TSS Safety is a workplace safety specialist much like Beacon and Schofield presented to the State Chamber of Commerce on the same topic last November.
Beech requested that those interested in eating RSVP by 5 pm this evening by calling Kenai Chamber of Commerce at 283-1991.
