If you’re interested in creative solutions to combat the state’s budget deficit and how those could impact Alaskans, you might consider attending the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce’s luncheon Tuesday.
Events Coordinator Melodie Allen with the Chamber says Grant Johnston with Alaska’s Future will be presenting…
Allen: “‘A statewide coalition of Alaskans joined together to promote a solution to the budget deficit that threatens Alaska’s future.’ So they talk a lot about the Permanent Fund and good ways to use that, and not just like, ‘Let’s take the Permanent Fund’, so I think they’ve got some good creative solutions and their going to be presenting that.”
Anyone interested can RSVP with the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce by 5 pm Monday.
