Tomorrow (Saturday), Representatives Mike Chenault and Kurt Olson will hold a legislative town hall meeting with constituents from 10 to noon in the Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly Chambers in Soldotna.
Speaker Chenault said there’s plenty of work left in this session…
Speaker Chenault(R-Nikiski): “We still have marijuana out there and it’s going to get talked about a lot. I’m waiting to see what we actually do on it, but it’s going to take up some committee time. We’ve still got numerous issues: education is still an issue out there, Medicaid expansion, how that fits into Medicaid reform. We’ve got the interior gas project we’re working on, trying to see if we can come up with a fix on that to get gas to Fairbanks, so we’ve got plenty of items still ont he agenda to complete before we get out of here.”
