22The annual Christmas Comes To Kenai will feature activities for children and adults, a visit from Santa and an evening bonfire and fireworks display.
Cheyanne Helm, Programs & Facilities Coordinator of the Kenai Chamber of Commerce, describes the early activities and the arrival of Santa;
“So, Christmas Comes to Kenai of course Arts Center is having their craft bazaar. They will have that from 10-5. And then starting at 11am here at Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center, we have Santa Claus arriving on the City of Kenai fire truck. And he’ll be available for pictures with the elves and they’ll be hot cocoa and cookies, and goody bags for the kiddos.”
The evening activities open with an electric lights parade and fireworks.
“We have lineup starting for the Electric Lights Parade, we’ll have everyone starting to lineup at 5 and they will start going through and all the roads will be blocked off along frontage. Parade will come down Frontage. It will end in the Kenai Chamber parking lot where they’ll be a bonfire, cookies, hot cocoa and music. And then following that we will have the grand finale fireworks starting around 7.”

The Electric Lights Parade starts @ Spur View Rd. Along Frontage Rd. to the Kenai Chamber Cabin Parking lot followed by a bonfire, cookies, hot chocolate and music.
7:00 PM
Grand Finale’ Fireworks.
