CIA Remains Unbeaten With Weekend Sweep In Co-Ed Soccer

The CIA Eagles recorded a pair of Borealis Conference victories on home turf with wins over Our Lady of the Valley and Holy Rosary.  The Eagles remain unbeaten in the fall co-ed soccer season.

 

CIA 4 – Our Lady of the Valley 0

Cook Inlet shut-out Our Lady of the Valley 4 -0 behind a three goal effort by Noah Castenholz. Castenholz opened the scoring in the 47th minute.  Valerie Cazares scored in the 65th minute for a 2-0 Eagles lead.   Castenholz added a goal in the 75th and 76th minutes for the three-goal, hat trick.   Jeremy and Beka Dillingham shared time in goal the shutout.

 

CIA 3 – Holy Rosary 1

Cook Inlet soccer remained undefeated with a 3-1 victory over Holy Rosary Academy on Saturday behind another three-goal, hat trick by Noah Castenholz.

Castenholz opened the scoring in the 7th minute and added a second goal in the 25th minute.  The Knights only score came early in the second half and was answered by a Castenholz goal in the 64th minute.  Beka Dillingham and Britt Hall shared duties in goal for the Eagles.   CIA improves to 7-0 on the co-ed season.
