The Cook Inlet Academy co-ed soccer team challenged undefeated Su-Valley for the Borealis Conference championship; however, Su-Valley remained unbeaten with a 2-0 shutout of the Eagles in the championships game on Saturday at Kincaid Park in Anchorage.
Noah Castenholz, the Division II leading scorer, was named tournament MVP and Castenholz and Ediie Erickson were named to the all-tournament team and all-conference team.
Cook Inlet defeated #2 seed Lumen Christi 3-2 on Friday to advance to the championship game. Castenholz recorded a three-goal, hat trick against Lumen.
