Conference standings and seeding into both the Southcentral Conference and Northern Lights Conference will be finalized with Kenai, Nikiski and SoHi closing-out regular season basketball play with road conference games in Anchorage and the Valley.
3A Southcentral Conference: Friday Scores
Kenai Girls 47 – Redington 35
Kenai lead 19-18 at the half and extended the lead in the second half for a 47-35 conference victory over the Redington Huskies. Jaiden Streiff topped the Kards with 15 points and Kailey Hamilton added 13 points.
Kenai Boys 60 – Redington 46
The Kenai boys lead the Huskies throughout building a slim 27-23 lead at the half and downing Redington 60-46 in Southcentral Conference action on Friday. Kayden Daniels scored 22 points for the Kardinals.
ACS Girls 81 – Nikiski 15
The Anchorage Christian School Lion girls remain unbeaten in Alaska with a dominant 81-15 dismantling of the Nikisk Bulldogs.
ACS Boys 78 – Nikiski 48
The Lion boys lead by as many as 36 points en rout to a 78-48 Southcentral Conference victory over Nikiski. Noah Litke scored 20 points for the outmanned Bulldogs.
4A Northern Lights Conference
In the Northern Lights Conference, Soldotna faces Palmer at Palmer High School on Saturday with the SoHi boys (3-4) needing a victory for a possible #2 seed into the Northern Lights Conference tournament. The Lady Stars (3-4) are locked-in to a #3 seed behind Wasilla (8-0) and Colony (6-1).
