The Soldotna Stars face a second Northern Lights Conference team in Division II football action at SoHi. The Stars look to ride the momentum of a non-divisional victory over Anchorage’s Service High last week and a 35-0 shutout of NLC Chugiak in week three. SoHi’s ground game averages over 300 yards per game and the Stars offense is averaging 33 points per game. Palmer is coming-off a narrow 20-13 loss to unbeaten Eagle River.

The Homer Mariners travel on Friday to Houston to face the Hawks. Homer’s game against Seward last week was cancelled due to covid protocols. The Mariners last contest was a 34-0 shutout of Kodiak; Homer stands at 1-2 on the season.

The Kardinals enter week five of the football season with only two games played and no offensive touchdowns recorded. The Kardinals lost 32-2 at Houston last week following a bye in week three and a covid, cancelled week-one pairing. Kenai’s homecoming opponent Redington stands at 3-0 with a victory over previously unbeaten Monroe.
