Northern Lights Conference volleyball for Soldotna and Kenai on the road against Valley schools, and Southcentral Conference volleyball on the road for the Nikiski Bulldogs filled the weekend schedule.
SoHi vs Valley
The Soldotna Stars won two of three pairing in the Valley, with victories over Palmer and Colony. SoHi defeated Colony on Saturday, rebounding from an 0-2 deficit to win three straight for the match victory. Judah Aley lead the Stars with 22 kills. The Stars defeated Palmer on Friday in three straight games with Aley recording 13 kills. SoHi dropped Thursday’s opening match to Wasilla.
Kenai vs Valley
The Kardinals recorded a three game sweep of Palmer on Saturday to close a three-game trip to the Valley. The Kards fell to both Wasilla and Colony.
Nikiski vs ACS & Joe Redington
The Bulldogs recorded a pair of conference victories with wins over ACS on Friday and Joe Redington on Saturday. Nikiski swept the Lions in three straight games; then, traveled to Joe Redington and defeated the Huskies in three straight.
