Conference Volleyball Road Losses For SoHi and Nikiski: Kenai Downs Homer On Kardinal Court

The Soldotna volleyball girls dropped a pair of Northern Lights Conference contests to Wasilla, Kenai downs Homer on Friday and the Nikiski girls fell to Homer on Saturday in Southcentral Conference volleyball.

 

SoHi @ Wasilla

The Warriors defended home court with victories over SoHi on Friday and Saturday in NLC volleyball.

Friday, the Warriors defeated SoHi 25-13, 25-22 and 25-14; SoHi’s Katelyn Morrison recorded nine kills for the Stars.

Saturday, the Warriors  dominated SoHi 25-12, 25-17 and 25-15 in Northern Lights Conference as the Stars fall to 0-4 in the NLC.

 

Kenai 3 – Homer 0

Kenai held-off Homer three times on Friday for a three-set sweep of the Mariners in Southcentral Conference volleyball action at KCHS.  Kenai took game one 25-23, game two 26-24 and game three 25-22.

Kenai’s Emma Beck recorded 10 digs and 12 kills; Kenai’s Grace Beiser and Cali Holmes each had seven kills.

 

Homer 3 – Nikiski 2

Homer volleyball rallied from two sets down for a five-set match victory over the Nikiski Bulldogs in Southcentral Conference volleyball Saturday at Homer High School.  Game scores: 24-26, 23-25, 25-17, 25-18, 15-6.

Izzy Dye had 14 kills for the Mariners.  Ashlynne Playle lead Nikiski with seven kills, 12 blocks and eight aces.
