Individual and team conference titles and berths to the state wrestling championships are up for grabs at NLC and Kachemak tournaments.
Conference wrestling tournaments are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, December 10th and 11th.
The Soldotna Stars compete in Kodiak for the Northern Lights Conference Wrestling Championships against Kodiak, Colony, Palmer and Wasilla.
Kenai Central, Nikiski, Seward and Homer will compete at the Kachemak Conference Wrestling Championships at Houston High School.
Northern Lights Conference: Division I
The Stars will battle for individual weight-class titles and berths to the DI state championships in 14 weight-classes for the boys and 10 available weight-classes for the girls. The top five in each weight-class earn state tournament berths (one at-large berth statewide is available).
Kachemak Conference: Division II
Kenai, Nikiski, Homer and Seward will compete for individual weight-class titles and berths to the DII state championships in 14 weight-classes for the boys and 10 available weight-classes for the girls. The top three in each weight-class earn state tournament berths (four at-large berth statewide is available).
