The Division of Elections has finished counting absentee and question ballots.
Director Gail Fenumiai said everything is on schedule to be certified by November 28.
Fenumiai: “We finished counting on Monday at the regional offices and now the State Review Board is starting their certification process and any additional ballots that came in that are eligible to be included in the count after Monday will be counted by the State Review Board.”
She said this general election process went very well.
Fenumiai: “There were a lot of ballots that had to be handled and counted, reviewed and counted and I think the regional offices did that very well and the review boards worked diligently to get all the ballots reviewed and determine which were eligible to be counted and which weren’t and then they were all appropriately counted timely.”
