The State Department of Transportation says Avalanche Hazard Reduction work will be performed on the Seward Highway Thursday from mile 80 to 100.
The DOT warns of road closures, short delays, and traffic stops. They’re asking motorists to be prepared to stop and watch for maintenance equipment on the roadway.
Motorists should expect delays of up to 1 hour between 10am and 2pm.
