More seniors graduate on time from the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District than from the average American school. The District’s graduation rate of 82% for 2014 again beat national standards, this time by 2%.
The graduation rate has been trending up since 2008.
Pegge Erkeneff told us last year…
Erkeneff: “The district has between, we don’t have a final count but between about 535 and 542 students that will be graduating this year district wide.”
The on-time graduation rate in 2011 was just 72%, leaping up to 78% in 2012.
