The first round of the Division II football state playoffs will feature a pair of contests on Saturday, October 6th with the top two teams from the Northern Lights Conference and from the Railbelt Conference matched-up at Machetanz Field at Palmer High School.
Division II Playoff Schedule: Saturday, October 6th
The Soldotna Stars, #1 seed from the Northern Lights Conference with a 3-0 conference record, will face the Palmer Moose, #2 seed from the Railbelt Conference and 2-1 in conference play, in the playoffs opening game.
Game time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday.
The Stars will be designated as the home team as the higher seeded team.

The Lathrop Malemutes, top seed from the Railbelt and 3-0 in conference play, will battle Eagle River, #2 seed from the NLC and 2-1 in conference action.
Game time is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
The Malemutes will be the designated home team as the higher seeded team.
The winners of the playoff’s first round will advance to the ASAA First National Bowl Division II Football Championship Game scheduled for Saturday, October 13th at Palmer High School.
