The ASAA Division II State Soccer Championships open Thursday, May 23 with games scheduled at three different venues.
DII Girls Soccer
The Kenai Kardinal girls have been awarded one of two at-large berths to the state tournament and begin play in the 9 a.m. contest at Eagle River High against North Pole.
The Soldotna girls, the #2 seed into the girls bracket, face Palmer in the 3 p.m. game at Eagle River.
DII Boys Soccer
The Homer boys, conference champions, and the Kenai Kardinal boys earned automatic berths to the state tournament.
Kenai, the 2018 DII boys state champion, open tournament play in the 7 p.m. game at West Anchorage High School. The Kardinals are the #2 seed into the boys bracket.
