DOT Proposes To Permit Land At Homer Airport

The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF) proposes to permit Lot 2,Block 600, (Premises) consisting of approximately 16,171 square feet (ADA-09575), at the Homer Airport by offering it through a sealed bid process.

 

Authorized uses: Aeronautical – as defined under 17 AAC 45.990(108); examples or limitations may be set out in the Bid Packet. Minimum Bid For Lot 2, Block 600: $3,185.69 per year. Term: The length of term will be five (5) years. Permanent improvements are not authorized for this lot.

 

DOT&PF’s intent is to award the Permit of the Premises to the qualified, responsive and responsible bidder who offers the highest bid for the annual rent.

 

The Deputy Commissioner of Aviation or the official designee hereby reserves the right to reschedule or cancel this bid offering, or to reject any and all bid proposals and to waive any defects when such rescheduling, cancellation, rejection or waiver will be in the best interest of the State. The Department may amend information stated in the bid package by giving further notice only to all persons of record to whom the Department provided a copy of the bid documents and without additional publication.

 

No pre-bid conference is scheduled for this bid. However, the Department reserves the right to schedule and hold a pre-bid conference if the department determines that a pre-bid conference is in the best interest of the State.

 

ALL BID PROPOSALS MUST BE MADE ON FORMS FURNISHED BY THE STATE

Purchase of a Bid Packet is required prior to submitting a bid. A Bid Packet containing the terms and conditions of this bid offering can only be purchased from the Anchorage Office of Statewide Aviation Leasing. Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. Alaska Standard Time (AST) on Thursday July 27, 2023. At that time, all bids will be publicly opened and read. All bids received after the designated time will be considered non-responsive and will be returned unopened. Late, telegraphic, facsimile (fax) or telephonic bids will NOT be accepted.
