DOT&PF encourages active public participation to ensure the ferry schedule effectively serves the needs of Alaska’s coastal residents.
The department emphasizes that the schedule aims to accommodate special events in coastal communities whenever possible. The public is encouraged to submit information that may help inform service planning.
DOT&PF also notes that it will work to contract supplemental services as needed to mitigate disruptions.
