Central Emergency Services enjoyed an extraordinarily quiet winter, but with temperatures dropping Safety Officer Brad Nelson said there’s been an increase in residential and highway emergencies…

 

Nelson: “Watch the roads, like the other morning we had that accident out by the landfill. Lots of cars involved in that one, luckily no injuries. During the day things are melting and at night they’re freezing over so that leads to slick roads in the morning,e specially on side roads. Definitely keep an eye for that stuff, remember your defensive driving and leave a little extra time in the mornings.”
