A 30-year-old Soldotna woman was arrested this week after allegedly using a 12-year-old boy to provide a sober breath sample.
Troopers were notified last night that Tiffany Porter was driving dangerously along Funny River Road. Porter was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol and on a revoked driver’s license.
An ignition interlock device (IID) was installed in her vehicle, but officers say she used her 12-year-old passenger to blow into the device so she could continue to drive.
Porter was arrested and booked into the Wildwood Pre-Trial Facility on the charges of DUI, Driving While License Revoked, endangering the welfare of a minor, and avoidance of an IID device. She was held without bail and the vehicle was released to a sober person on scene.
