We’re just two months out from the one year anniversary of the Funny River Fire and the Division of Forestry says they’re already concerned about this year’s wildfire season.

 

With an unusually warm, dry winter almost behind us, homeowners are encouraged to take some early precautions. Judy Reese…

 

Judy: “Clear out fine fuels from around your home. Mow your grass. Cut up limbs on your trees, dispose of slash and water your yard. That’s what you can do in the meantime. Make sure you don’t have leaves in your gutters, and think where an ember can start a fire at your home.”
