Around 5 am Wednesday morning, a white pickup truck lost control on the Kenai Spur Highway near the Willow Street intersection, rolled, and a Kenai Police officer directed traffic around the area.
Kenai Sergeant Ben Langham gave the initial details he was told by responding officers.
Sgt. Langham: “I believe the truck was traveling Nikiski bound on the Spur Highway near Wells Fargo, when the driver lost control of the truck which resulted in a rollover accident. The driver was transported to the hospital by Kenai Fire Department for an evaluation, he was determined to be under the influence and was subsequently arrested and charged with Driving under the influence.”
He says the 32-year-old Kenai man, whose identity was not immediately available, had non-life threatening injuries.
