The Cook Inlet Academy Eagles co-ed soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to Delta Junction on Friday at the Borealis Conference Soccer Championships, knocking the #1 seed Eagles from a championship game appearance and into the third-place game on Saturday at Begich Middle School.
The Eagles were held scoreless for the first time this season and suffered their second loss on the season.
CIA will face Tri-Valley in the third-place game at 2:30 p.m.
Delta and Su-Valley will plat for the Borealis championship at 4:30 p.m. Both games will be played at Begich Middle School.
