ENSTAR Line Completes Work North of the River

Construction crews working on the ENSTAR lateral line project have been moving east along K-Beach Road, with work along Bridge Access Rd north of the Kenai River now complete.

Hobson: “Well we are asking drivers to be aware of truck crossings across the road there, and not to stop and observe the work but to continue to move through the area cautiously.”

ENSTAR’s Lindsay Hobson said the trench dug along the northern end of Bridge Access has been filled and hydro-seeded and will eventually be reviewed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to ensure there are no long-term disruptions to the environment.

The project, scheduled to be completed in June, will connect CINGSA, just off Bridge Access Rd, with ENSTAR’s existing network on Amy Lane.
