Orange caution signs have been springing up along K-Beach and Bridge Access Roads as the ENSTAR Lateral Line project continues down to ENSTAR’s existing network on Amy Lane.

 

Lindsay Hobson with ENSTAR said that while crews are moving close to the highway, there are no lane closures planned right now…

Hobson: “Well we are asking drivers to be aware of truck crossings across the road there, and not to stop and observe the work but to continue to move through the area cautiously.”

 

The project is going to run 4.4 miles of 16 inch pipe from CINGSA, just off Bridge Access Road in Kenai, under the Kenai River and down K-Beach Road to connect with ENSTAR’s existing network on Amy Lane.
