The ENSTAR Natural Gas project to connect CINGSA storage tanks to Anchorage via their own line is proceeding on schedule.
Communications manager Lindsay Hobson said crews installed the pipe under the river last weekend and detailed the next directional drilling in the project.
Hobson: “We are going to do a third directional drill under K-Beach Road and it will be about one hundred feet long. Possibly not folks might be seeing crews working, welding, and bending pipes, getting ready to turn the corner there.”
The project is slated to be done in June and Hobson said she expects crews to tie pipe on the north side of the river into the underground section this weekend.
