ENSTAR’s project along Bridge Access to cross the Kenai River is set to begin drilling today or tomorrow.
Spokeswoman Lindsay Hobson said the drill rig was relocated to the south side of the river over last weekend and detailed what drivers might see along the project.
Hobson: “Wooden mats have been laid down, that’s where the equipment will be set up. There will be a rig that will be about 30ft off the road, it will be down in the low lands so if you’re driving right by it will be pretty hard to spot. The area where the drilling will actually take place will be 400ft from the water.”
The anticipated completion date is April 4th.
