We have received reports that all flights this morning, Friday February 7th from Anchorage to Kenai and other areas across the peninsula are currently grounded due to high winds and blowing snow.
We spoke to Shelby Turner with Era Aviation who told us more about what they are expecting.
Turner: “It’s not looking good, the winds are pretty bad and they’re getting worse. We’re still on weather hold. I don’t see any flights going out anytime soon.
She also said that winds may die down around 5pm tonight.
