All high school spring sports were in action for the final weekend of April including soccer, softball and baseball.
Soccer Game Results
The SoHi girls downed Wasilla 5-2 in a Northern Lights Conference contest at SoHi. The Stars recorded a pair of goals by Miranda Wolfe and two goals by Abby Tuttle, with Jaela Hubbard adding a goal.
The Soldotna boys downed Eagle River on Friday 2-0 on a pair of goals by Ty Fenton. SoHi fell to Wasilla on Saturday 2-0 in an NLC contest. SoHi plays Nikiski at Soldotna High on Monday, April 27th.
The Nikiski girls traveled to Kodiak for soccer contests. The Bulldog jv girls played the Bears to a 2-2 tie on Friday and the varsity won 3-1 on Saturday.
The Bulldog boys downed Kodiak 5-2 in a non-conference contest on Friday and defeated Kodiak 3-2 on Saturday in the NLC game.
Softball Game Results
The SoHi girls opened the season with a non-conference victory over Palmer 8-7 in five innings.
The KCHS girls opened with a 14-7 loss to the Moose in a four inning game.
Baseball Game Results
SoHi traveled to Kodiak to open the baseball season and dropped a pair of games to the Bears. Kodiak took game one 8-5 on Friday and game two 16-2 on Saturday.
