The Alaska Department of Fish and Game are aiming to spice up that salmon dish you are eating by providing creative recipe ideas to impress your guests during the holidays. The Division of Sport Fish will be hosting an online fishing forum titled, “Cooking Your Catch” on the Alaska Department of Fish and Game YouTube channel.
The 47-minute fishing forum will give you new creative ideas for cooking some of the fish and shellfish that you have in your freezer from this summer. It also will cover prepping and cooking tips to ensure you have the best quality sport caught fish or shellfish from field to table.
The presentation will be available on YouTube on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. ADF&G will be available to answer any questions in real-time on the YouTube chat from 7:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. and will be available to reply to questions in the comments following the presentation. In addition, if you can’t make it to the showing at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday night, the presentation will remain on the ADF&G YouTube channel and can be viewed any time after the premiere.
Following the fishing forum, the Division of Sport Fish will be launching weekly short 1–2-minute cooking videos on their YouTube channel Wednesday evenings at 8:00 p.m. be sure to subscribe to their channel to catch the videos.
