The National Weather Service in Anchorage issued a flood advisory Friday afternoon for the Resurrection River near Seward.
The advisory stated four to five inches of rain is forecast for the Seward area on Friday and Saturday which will likely cause the river to flood.
Debris on the south end of the Seward runway is expected due to the flooding.
The NWS expects high water and localized flooding on creeks in the areas of Exit, Clear, and Salmon Creeks.
The advisory is in effect until 1:00 pm Saturday.
