Four teams from the Kenai Peninsula will cap-off their second week of high school football practices by testing their progress at the 2021 Peninsula High School Football Jamboree scheduled for Kenai Central High School on Saturday, August 7th on Ed Hollier Field.
Kenai, Homer, Nikiski and Soldotna will play under controlled-scrimmage guidelines with each team allowed no more than 20 plays (10 offense and 10 defense) against each other team.
Jamboree Schedule
Starting at 10:00 am teams can begin warming-up. Warm-ups will take place from the 40-Yard Line
into the nearest end zone and from the nearest Hash Line to the Sideline.
KCHS Warm-up – NW Corner of the Field / Kenai Spur and KCHS Side of the Field
Nikiski Warm-up – NE Corner of the Field / Kenai Spur and KMS Side of the Field
Soldotna Warm-up – SW Corner of the Field / Lawton and KCHS Side of the Field
Homer Warm-up – SE Corner of the Field / Lawton and KMS Side of the Field
The Jamboree will begin at 11:00 – Offensive plays will begin @ the 40-yard line. Each team will run
10 consecutive offensive plays per game.

“Football – Up to 20 plays may be played against each team in the jamboree with a maximum of 100
plays per day. A team may play in only one jamboree each season. A jamboree does not count as a game
against the 8 game limit.”
