The individuals arrested and their charges are as follows:

Rain M. Spotted Eagle Wong, 22, of Kenai, was arrested at approximately 5:53 p.m. for Theft in the 3rd Degree.

They were all transferred to the Wildwood Pretrial Facility.
Chief David Ross of the KPD said that although the crimes occurred at a single retailer, there was no correlation between the individuals.
“It’s a coordinated effort on our part with the loss prevention from that business and with the assistance of some troopers to try to target shoplifting. I anticipate us doing that again with other retailers in town to try to reduce shoplifting at our local retailers.” Said Chief Ross.
The name of the business was not disclosed.
According to Chief Ross, this is the first of future efforts to coordinate with local retailers to reduce shoplifting.
