Central peninsula football teams Soldotna, Kenai and Nikiski will all play under the lights on Friday night, with road games filling the schedule for week three of the high school football season.
Four undefeated teams in the Medium School and Small School divisions will put their unbeaten records on the line, all on Friday night.

The Soldotna Stars, 2-0 on the season with victories over the 2015 Large School state champions South Anchorage and over 2015 state qualifier North Pole, put their 41-game win streak on the line against the Large School division Wasilla Warriors at Wasilla High School. Game time scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
The Stars, through two games, have amassed nearly 950 total yards including over 600 rushing and over 300 passing. The Stars have posted 106 points through two games. The Warriors stand at 1-1 on the season.

The Kenai Kardinals look to post their first victory on Friday; on the road, under the lights and against the 2-0 Thunder Mountain Falcons. Kenai’s offense yet to get on track; the Falcons have scored 102 points in two contests. Kenai and the Southeast Conference Thunder Mountain Falcons meet in Juneau at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Nikiski vs Monroe @ Fairbanks 7:00 p.m. KKIS 96.5FM and www.radiokenai.com
The Nikiski Bulldogs, winless through two games, face the unbeaten Monroe Rams in a Small School division pairing in Fairbanks on Friday. Game scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
The Bulldogs will need to rush the football against the Rams; Nikiski with under 50 yards rushing through the first two games of the season. In other football action on Friday, the Homer Mariners (0-2) travel to 2-0 Kodiak.
