Governor Bill Walker will make his appearance in Kenai for the Inaugural Ball on January 30.

Pozonsky: “Well it’s a real festive atmosphere, we’re celebrating the new Governor of Alaska and the Lieutenant Governor. We’ll have dinner and dancing and we’re going to do some toasts and it will just be a really fun night, very fun and festive is what we’re hoping for.”
She said that there will be time to mingle and take pictures with the governor and those interested should act fast as seats and tables are going quickly.
The ball is being held at the Old Kenai Mall, doors open at 5:30 pm on January 30 with a Cocktail reception beginning at 6:00 pm and dinner is served at 6:30 pm, followed by the program.
Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at: Kenai Chamber of Commerce in Kenai, Soldotna Chamber of Commerce, Alaska Waste off K-Beach road (47323 Merrywood Ave, Soldotna) or at Caribou Run Bookkeeping (110 South Willow St, Kenai).
