The City of Soldotna is fed up and has taken to social media to alert residents of several acts of vandalism that has defaced a number of properties around town.
According to the post, city officials spent most of Thursday removing spray paint from local parks, the Soldotna Library and several street signs.
In the post officials said: “Soldotna has so many wonderful public spaces to be proud of, and they belong to everyone. Help us make sure we can continue to enjoy them, by reporting anyone who would intentionally do damage. Vandalism is not only expensive to clean up and remove, it’s also a crime.”
The City of Soldotna is asking residents to visit the post on facebook and share to spread the word.
Contact the Soldotna Police Department at 262-4455 if you have any information regarding the incidents.
