The ordinance to tax non-prepared foods six months out of the year and its amendment to put it before voters passed this week, but then were requested for reconsideration.

Assembly Member Kelly Wolf: “Thank you Mr. President, at this time I’d like to give notice of my reconsideration of 2015 – 03 and ask for that reconsideration vote on April 21st.”
Assembly Member Wolf did not comment as to why he requested the reconsideration.
Earlier that evening both the ordinance and its amendment garnered equal amounts of public testimony in support and opposition and each were only passed by a five to four vote in favor.
