Are you in the mood for some holiday themed gifts, but just couldn’t bare yourself to witness the chaos of Black Friday? Well look no further, because the Happy Holly Jolly Bizarre is going to be at the Kenai Chamber of Commerce for all of your holiday needs!
This event will take place on December 2nd and 3rd from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
According to Executive Directive Samantha Springer, the chamber has recently started hosting bizarres this year, and would like to see the pattern going. That makes this the first Christmas-themed bizarre.
Springer says that the chamber will hold a holiday bizarre for 4th of July next year, as well as a Mother’s day one too! All that’s needed right now is timing, and figuring out what days would work best for the vendors and the community.
“I just want to get people more used to having these vendor events at the Chamber. So we’re just gonna continue to have four a year and kind of testing the waters on which days work best,” says Springer.
The idea is very simple. Participants get to browse around at all the different vendors are the event, shop around, and get into the Christmas spirit.
“It’s just going to be 10 to 5 Saturday and Sunday. We’re going to pack it full of holiday cheer,” said Springer.
And if your worried about shopping for that certain someone who always seems to have everything, look no further. The event is completely booked out, with 21 different vendors coming to the event!
So what are you waiting for, get your holiday shopping done, and come on down to the Happy Holly Jolly Bizarre!
