The Central Peninsula Landfill will host a hazardous household waste day on Saturday, August 8.
Solid Waste Director Jack Maryott…
Maryott: “That includes a disposal opportunity for homeowners and small businesses to dispose of things that they typically could not, or we don’t want, thrown in with the waste stream; antifreeze, batteries, photography chemicals, things like that.”
The Central Peninsula Landfill will take those items from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Saturday, August 8.
The next hazardous household waste day will be September 19.
