HEA crews are responding to a power outage in the Kasilof area Saturday afternoon.
According to Joe Gallager with HEA, the outage is affecting 1,246 meters from the intersection of the Sterling Highway and K-Beach Road in Kasilof south towards Ninilchik to Sunset Bluff.
The outage appears to have been caused by a private contractor hitting an HEA facility.
Crews our working to restore power to customers. No timeline has been established at this time.
