Power has reportedly been restored to all 11,000 HEA customers affected by the 11:00 am outage.
No cause of the outage has been released yet.

Homer Electric Association, Inc. has confirmed there is a wide spread outage that began around 11:00 am.
Approximately 11,000 meters are affected in Soldotna, Kenai, Sterling, Kasilof, Nikiski, and near Homer.
HEA’s Joe Gallagher said crews are working to assess what caused the outage and fix it as quickly as possible.
