Homer Electric Association is advising members to be aware of an unplanned emergency outage this afternoon (Friday) that will impact service from Kalifornsky Beach Fire Station south to the Sterling Highway.

The outtage will occur at approximately 1:30pm Friday, for an estimated length of one hour, in order to allow HEA to work on a powerline that has come loose from an insulator. Approximately 637 members could be affected.
