220 gallons of heating fuel was stolen in the small community of Seldovia this winter.
The owner reported the theft to Troopers on Sunday, explaining they hadn’t been to the residence in two months and it wasn’t clear when the oil was taken.
The oil was not hooked up to a heater and Troopers say they have no suspects or leads at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call the Anchor Point Trooper post or Peninsula Crime Stoppers at 1-800-478-HALT.
