The high school hockey regular season will be anything but regular for 2021.
Hockey programs on the Kenai Peninsula, Kenai, Homer and SoHi, will be restricted to a peninsula-only regular season schedule with the hope of a state championship culminating event in mid-February.
Regular season practices, according to ASAA, may begin on January 4th and the first contest is scheduled for January 15th with Kenai hosting Homer.
Statewide, Alaska school districts are limiting high school hockey to district-only competition, with no travel or competition outside of district.
