The Bi-Annual Cross Fit Competition, formerly call SST (Strength & Speed Training), in which high school students compete in select weight lifting competitions and an endurance event called Fight Gone Bad, was held at Soldotna High School.
The spring competition includes the squat, clean, snatch and newly added bench press; as well as the FGB competition which includes stations for bar raises, box jumps, kettle bell swings and wall balls (which consist of throwing a heavy medicine ball over the head against a wall).
New records were posted in five events for the spring competition.
